Local Initiatives
Supporting projects that benefit our residents, enhance community well-being, and promote local development. We need to explore how our community can have a safer town by possibly merging Police Depts. with North Catty and Hanover Twp., as well as expanding our Code Enforcement Dept.

Public Engagement
Encouraging voices from all community members. We need to enter the 21st Century and provide open communication using modern methods, including email and social media. We must encourage transparency and dialogue between residents and council members.

Sustainable Growth
Completion of the Iron Works project is imperative. We cannot continue to allow this project to flounder. I will ensure proper follow-through on this parcel that has been sitting idle for almost two decades. Creation of a new parking deck along Front Street is the only viable way to ensure foot traffic to the new planned downtown business district. A new park and open community space bordering the D&L Trail along the Lehigh Canal is necessary to encourage community visitation for all residents of our borough, not just new citizens moving into the project site area.
Future Vision
Planning for a vibrant community. We need to explore how our community can have a safer public park, improve playground equipment, and once again have a public swimming pool. We need partner more with the School District and regain the symbiotic relationship we once had it, thereby promoting more family-themed and community focused events.
